Investors
Anyone who buys a property, whether it is simply for their own use, permanently or occasionally, is clearly an investor of a significant sum of capital, but for the sake of convenience, we choose to use the term "investor" for someone who may wish to put funds into more than one property or, in fact, directly into one of our group development companies, that is to say without purchasing specified properties.
In the latter case there are two options:
- Money is invested in "loaned to" the development company of a particular project for a fixed term and with a guaranteed rate of interest.
- Funds are used to purchase an agreed percentage of the company shares. On completion of the project profits are distributed to shareholders in proportion to the holdings. This route can offer higher returns than the fixed interest loan route but may be seen as carrying a higher risk.
In both instances investments are guaranteed by the value of the land purchased so risk levels are low enough to be considered almost non-existent.
