One of Spain's most famous historic cities, Granada was the major
centre for the Moorish empire from the 8th to the 15th centuries
and one can still appreciate many traces of this golden age in the
country's history. Most famous is the outstanding architectural
and cultural legacy of the Alhambra, palace of the rulers of Granada,
now attracting several million international and native visitors
every year.

for the anticipated increase in international traffic from 2005.
This to add to Granada's existing excellent road and rail links
to the rest of Spain and Europe. It is a wonderful place,
ancient and modern, with so much to offer.
Mirador Cubillas enjoys a prime location close (10 minutes drive)
to Granada. The immediate area offers a large lake with all types
of watersports, surrounded by pine forests that are perfect for
picnics in one of the deignated areas, or a leisurely walk or cycle
ride. For the more energtic it is 45 minutes drive to ski on Spain's
highest mountain in the Sierra Nevada. These properties will also
be frontline golf when the golf course is completed in a few years
time.
The project will include a large recreational area with adult and
children's swimming pools, tennis court, paddle tennis court and
green areas; all to be included in the earliest stages of the building
programme.
The development is located next to extensive protected pine forests
on the shores of the lake "Embalse de Cubillas", providing
facilities for all types of water sports; bathing, sailing, windsurfing
(available at the nearby water sports club) water skiing and fishing,
less than 5 minutes' walk from your front door. There are
several beach areas for simple relaxation.
In the forest there are opportunities for easy, relaxed walks and cycling, with several designated barbecue areas and a lakeside restaurant. Very close to Señorío de Cubillas, within easy walking distance, will be the 18 hole golf course, while venturing only slightly further afield there are horse riding, bird sanctuaries, clay-pigeon shooting and many other opportunities for more demanding walking and cycling. All this very close to hand within a few minutes’ drive into the fabulous surrounding countryside.
Sierra Nevada
The highest mountain range in Spain, the Sierra Nevada, with its
excellent ski resort, is 30 minutes' drive away, normally affording
the opportunity for sunny skiing from December to May.
The Costa Granadina, at the developing and popular resort of Salobreña, is only 45-60 minutes’ drive for any who may be tempted away occasionally from the magnificent facilities already onthe their doorstep.
